Job description

Surface Cleaning: Dusting, wiping, and sanitizing surfaces such as desks, tables, countertops, shelves, and fixtures to remove dirt, dust, and germs. Use appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Floor Care: Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, or scrubbing floors to remove debris, stains, and spills. Use floor cleaning equipment and supplies such as brooms, mops, vacuum cleaners, and floor polishers to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Trash Removal: Empty waste bins, trash cans, and recycling bins and dispose of trash in designated receptacles or disposal areas. Replace trash liners and ensure that waste disposal areas are clean and orderly. Restroom Cleaning: Clean and sanitize restrooms, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures to maintain hygiene and prevent the spread of germs. Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, and paper towel holders as needed. Kitchen Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, appliances, and dining areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment and ensure that kitchen surfaces are free of grease, spills, and food debris. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to remove smudges, streaks, and fingerprints. Ensure that glass surfaces are clean and free of marks or blemishes. Furniture Care: Dust, wipe, and polish furniture surfaces such as desks, chairs, cabinets, and bookshelves to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Use appropriate cleaning products and techniques for different types of furniture materials. Stocking and Inventory: Monitor cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished. Ensure that cleaning products are stored safely and used according to safety guidelines. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and goggles when handling cleaning chemicals or performing tasks that may pose a risk. Attention to Detail: Pay attention to detail and perform thorough cleaning and inspection of designated areas to ensure that cleanliness standards are met. Address any areas requiring special attention or additional cleaning. Time Management: Manage time effectively to complete cleaning tasks within specified time frames and schedules.
