Job description

Surface Cleaning: Dusting, wiping, and sanitizing surfaces such as desks, countertops, tables, and fixtures to remove dirt, dust, and germs. Floor Care: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors to keep them clean and free of debris. This includes using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for different types of flooring. Bathroom Sanitation: Cleaning and disinfecting restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures. Restocking toilet paper, hand soap, and other supplies as needed. Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste in designated containers or dumpsters. Sorting recyclable materials and following proper waste disposal protocols. Kitchen Cleaning: Washing dishes, cleaning appliances, countertops, and sinks in kitchen areas. Removing food waste, wiping down surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness to prevent contamination. Window and Glass Cleaning: Washing windows, glass doors, and other transparent surfaces to ensure clarity and cleanliness. Using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to avoid streaks or smudges. High-Dusting and Cobweb Removal: Removing cobwebs, dust, and debris from high surfaces, light fixtures, ceiling corners, and air vents using dusters or extension poles. Specialized Cleaning Tasks: Performing specialized cleaning tasks as required, such as carpet shampooing, upholstery cleaning, and deep cleaning of specific areas or equipment. Disinfection and Sanitization: Using disinfectants and sanitizers to kill germs, bacteria, and viruses on frequently touched surfaces, especially during times of heightened concern about infectious diseases. Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and scrub brushes, to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Following Safety Protocols: Adhering to safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals or working in potentially hazardous environments.
