Job description

Maintaining Cleanliness: Cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the establishment, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas, to ensure a tidy and hygienic environment for customers, employees, and visitors. Dusting and Vacuuming: Removing dust, dirt, and debris from surfaces, furniture, and carpets using appropriate cleaning tools such as dusters, vacuum cleaners, and mops. Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly according to established procedures and regulations. This includes separating recyclables from non-recyclables when applicable. Restocking Supplies: Checking and replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and cleaning products to ensure that facilities are well-stocked and readily available for use. Cleaning Restrooms: Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting restroom fixtures, sinks, toilets, and floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Kitchen Cleaning: Cleaning kitchen surfaces, appliances, and equipment to ensure food safety and sanitation. This may include wiping down countertops, cleaning sinks, and degreasing cooking equipment. Window and Glass Cleaning: Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to remove smudges, fingerprints, and dirt for a clear and streak-free appearance. Specialized Cleaning Tasks: Performing specialized cleaning tasks as needed, such as carpet shampooing, floor waxing, or upholstery cleaning, using appropriate equipment and techniques. Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to safety protocols and using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely to prevent accidents or injuries. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. Reporting Maintenance Issues: Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution. Adhering to Cleaning Schedules: Following established cleaning schedules and routines to ensure that all areas are cleaned regularly and consistently. Customer Service: Providing friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers, employees, or visitors, and responding to any cleaning-related inquiries or requests promptly and courteously.
