Job description

Surface Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping surfaces to remove dirt, dust, debris, and stains from floors, walls, furniture, and fixtures. Restroom Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops, to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and odor control, and replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed. Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and other waste materials from designated areas, ensuring proper disposal methods and compliance with waste management regulations. Cleaning Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies in good working condition by cleaning, disinfecting, and storing them properly after each use, and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to supervisors. Floor Care: Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors to maintain cleanliness, appearance, and safety, using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment for different floor types. Window Cleaning: Clean interior and exterior windows, glass doors, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to remove smudges, fingerprints, and streaks and ensure clear visibility and aesthetics. Carpet Cleaning: Vacuum and shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery to remove dirt, stains, and odors, and use carpet cleaning machines or steam cleaners for deep cleaning and restoration as needed. Specialized Cleaning: Perform specialized cleaning tasks as required, such as high-dusting, disinfection, sanitization, pest control, and emergency clean-up of spills, accidents, or biohazards, following established protocols and safety procedures. Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment inventory, place orders for supplies as needed, and maintain accurate records of inventory levels and usage to ensure adequate stock availability. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations related to cleaning activities, use of cleaning chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and proper handling and storage of hazardous materials to prevent accidents, injuries, and health risks. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients to coordinate cleaning schedules, report maintenance issues, address client concerns or requests, and ensure a collaborative and supportive work environment.
