Job description

Construction Planning: Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop construction plans, schedules, and budgets for civil engineering projects within the resort, including site development, infrastructure improvements, and facility construction. Site Management: Supervising and coordinating construction activities on-site, including earthwork, grading, utility installation, road construction, and building construction, to ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to design specifications and quality standards. Crew Management: Managing and directing construction crews, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure that work is performed according to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols. Assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance to optimize productivity and quality. Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Conducting inspections, tests, and audits to identify defects, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement. Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for construction personnel and minimize the risk of accidents, injuries, and property damage. Conducting safety inspections, providing training, and enforcing safety regulations and best practices. Material Management: Monitoring and managing construction materials, supplies, and equipment to ensure availability, proper storage, and efficient utilization. Coordinating deliveries, managing inventory, and verifying material quality and compliance with specifications. Progress Tracking: Monitoring construction progress, milestones, and critical path activities to ensure that project timelines are met and any delays or issues are addressed promptly. Reporting progress updates, deviations, and challenges to project management and stakeholders. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reports of construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, work orders, and as-built drawings. Documenting changes, deviations, and variations from project plans and specifications. Coordination and Communication: Facilitating communication and collaboration among project team members, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and address concerns in a timely manner. Holding regular meetings, coordinating work schedules, and providing updates to stakeholders as needed. Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing construction-related challenges, obstacles, and conflicts that may arise during the course of the project. Analyzing issues, proposing solutions, and implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions and keep the project on track.
