Job description

Supervision: Direct and supervise construction activities on-site, including coordinating the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure that work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and schedules. Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Conduct regular safety inspections, address safety concerns, and promote a culture of safety among workers. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure that construction meets quality standards and specifications. Conduct inspections, review work progress, and address any deficiencies or non-conformities promptly. Schedule Management: Coordinate construction activities to ensure that work progresses according to the project schedule. Monitor project milestones, identify potential delays, and take corrective actions to keep the project on track. Resource Management: Manage labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to optimize productivity and minimize waste. Coordinate deliveries, manage inventory, and ensure that resources are utilized effectively to meet project requirements. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, engineers, and inspectors. Provide regular updates on project progress, address issues or concerns, and facilitate collaboration among team members. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related issues and challenges that arise during the course of the project. Troubleshoot problems, make decisions in a timely manner, and implement solutions to keep the project moving forward. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings. Ensure that documentation is organized, up-to-date, and accessible for reference and future use. Change Management: Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget effectively. Assess the impact of changes, communicate with stakeholders, and implement adjustments as necessary to accommodate changing project requirements. Client Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by addressing their needs, responding to inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. Keep clients informed of project progress, milestones, and any issues that may arise. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to construction crews and subcontractors to ensure that they understand project requirements and perform their work safely and effectively. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among team members. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that construction activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and specifications. Conduct quality inspections, perform tests as required, and address any quality issues promptly.
