Job description

Project Planning: Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, budget, schedule, and resources required for successful project execution. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and establish project goals. Team Management: Assemble and lead a project team consisting of engineers, architects, contractors, and other professionals. Assign roles and responsibilities, provide direction and support, and foster collaboration among team members. Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop project budgets and cost estimates based on project requirements and scope. Monitor project expenses, track costs against budget, and implement cost-saving measures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints. Scheduling and Time Management: Create project schedules and timelines to outline key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and implement strategies to keep the project on schedule. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with the project and develop risk management strategies to mitigate them. Anticipate and address challenges that may arise during the course of the project to minimize disruptions and delays. Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards and ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and address any issues related to quality or performance. Contract Management: Negotiate and administer contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure that contracts are executed according to agreed terms and conditions and that all parties fulfill their obligations. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and milestones. Address client concerns, answer inquiries, and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies and local authorities for project implementation. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations governing construction and development projects. Construction Management: Oversee construction activities, including site preparation, excavation, foundation work, and structural construction. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed according to specifications and within established timelines. Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel. Conduct regular safety inspections, provide safety training, and address any safety issues or incidents promptly. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, contracts, correspondence, and change orders. Prepare regular progress reports, financial reports, and status updates for stakeholders and senior management.
