Job description

Project Planning: Leading the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets for civil engineering projects within the resort, including site development, infrastructure improvements, and facility construction. Scope Definition: Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with resort goals, regulatory requirements, and budget constraints. Team Leadership: Building and leading project teams consisting of engineers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure successful project execution. Resource Management: Allocating resources, including personnel, equipment, materials, and budget, to support project activities and meet project milestones and deadlines. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and hazards associated with project implementation, such as budget overruns, schedule delays, resource constraints, and technical challenges. Developing risk management strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitating communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including resort management, regulatory agencies, contractors, and other relevant parties, to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely decision-making. Contract Administration: Managing contracts, agreements, and procurement processes related to civil engineering projects, including contractor selection, negotiation, and contract administration to ensure compliance with project requirements and legal standards. Quality Assurance and Control: Implementing quality assurance and control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards, specifications, and client expectations. Conducting inspections, audits, and reviews to monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement. Budget and Cost Management: Monitoring project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance, tracking costs, identifying variances, and implementing cost control measures to ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraints. Schedule Management: Monitoring project schedules, milestones, and critical path activities, identifying schedule risks and dependencies, and implementing strategies to optimize project timelines and ensure timely delivery. Change Management: Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget through formal change control processes, assessing impacts, obtaining approvals, and communicating changes to stakeholders to minimize disruptions and maintain project alignment. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate project documentation, records, and reports, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation to track project status, milestones, and performance metrics.
