Job description

Project Planning: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, architects, and contractors. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones to ensure alignment with project requirements and goals. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, to support project activities and meet project timelines. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to procure resources and manage resource utilization efficiently. Risk Management: Identify potential risks, uncertainties, and challenges associated with the project and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays. Anticipate and address issues related to scope changes, budget constraints, scheduling conflicts, and regulatory compliance. Quality Control: Establish quality standards, specifications, and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures, inspections, and audits throughout the project lifecycle to verify compliance and address non-conformities. Contract Management: Manage project contracts, agreements, and procurement activities in coordination with legal counsel, procurement specialists, and contract administrators. Review contract terms and conditions, negotiate changes as needed, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, project team members, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and status meetings to keep stakeholders informed and engaged. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and financial targets. Track project costs, expenses, and revenue streams, and implement cost-saving measures as needed to optimize project profitability. Schedule Management: Manage project schedules, timelines, and critical milestones to ensure timely completion of project deliverables. Monitor progress against schedule objectives, identify schedule risks and deviations, and implement corrective actions to mitigate schedule delays and disruptions. Construction Management: Oversee construction activities, including site preparation, mobilization, construction progress, and quality assurance. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction managers to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory clearances from government agencies and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and standards governing land use, zoning, environmental protection, and construction practices. Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and deliverables through formal change control processes. Evaluate change requests, assess impacts on project objectives, and negotiate changes with stakeholders to maintain project alignment and minimize scope creep. Project Closeout: Facilitate project closeout activities, including final inspections, client acceptance, contract closeout, and documentation turnover. Prepare project closeout reports, lessons learned, and post-project evaluations to capture project successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
