Project Planning: Lead the development of project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation. This involves working closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Team Leadership: Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, contractors, and subcontractors. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and project expectations. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk management strategies to mitigate them. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing risk controls, and monitoring risks throughout the project lifecycle. Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources. This involves monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and addressing budget variances as they arise. Schedule Management: Develop project schedules, set milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of project deliverables. This includes identifying critical path activities, managing schedule dependencies, and addressing schedule delays or disruptions. Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards and procedures to ensure that project deliverables meet client requirements and industry standards. This involves conducting quality inspections, reviewing workmanship, and addressing quality issues in a timely manner. Contract Administration: Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. This includes negotiating contract terms, reviewing contract documents, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing client concerns, and managing client expectations. This involves maintaining open communication channels and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, permits, and standards throughout the project lifecycle. This includes obtaining necessary approvals, permits, and licenses, as well as addressing any regulatory issues or requirements. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, change orders, and other project records. This involves documenting project activities, decisions, and outcomes to facilitate project monitoring and evaluation. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all project personnel. This includes conducting safety inspections, implementing safety protocols, and addressing safety concerns promptly. Continuous Improvement: Identify lessons learned and best practices from completed projects to improve processes, procedures, and project outcomes. This involves evaluating project performance, soliciting feedback from stakeholders, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
