Project Planning: Lead the development of project plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets for civil engineering projects in the automotive sector. Define project objectives, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Team Management: Assemble and manage multidisciplinary project teams, including civil engineers, architects, surveyors, contractors, and subcontractors. Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance to ensure effective project execution. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project sponsors. Communicate project progress, status updates, and milestones to ensure alignment with client expectations and objectives. Risk Management: Identify potential risks, challenges, and obstacles that may impact project success. Develop risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and alternative solutions to minimize project disruptions and ensure timely delivery. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, agreements, and procurement documents with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors involved in project implementation. Ensure that contract terms, pricing, and deliverables meet project requirements and budget constraints. Budget and Cost Management: Manage project budgets, expenditures, and financial resources throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor costs, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to optimize project profitability and financial performance. Schedule and Timeline Management: Develop project schedules, timelines, and critical path analyses to ensure that milestones and deadlines are met. Coordinate activities, resolve scheduling conflicts, and adjust plans as needed to keep projects on track. Quality Assurance and Control: Implement quality assurance and control measures to ensure the integrity and quality of project deliverables. Conduct inspections, reviews, and audits to verify compliance with engineering standards and client specifications. Regulatory Compliance: Navigate regulatory requirements and obtain necessary permits, approvals, and licenses for project development and construction. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, environmental permits, and safety standards. Construction Management: Oversee construction activities, progress, and performance on site. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure that work is executed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Assess the impact of changes on schedule, budget, and resources, and communicate adjustments to stakeholders as necessary. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reports.
