Job description

Site Development: Leading site surveys and assessments to evaluate the terrain, soil conditions, and environmental factors that may impact resort development. Developing site plans and layouts to optimize land use, infrastructure placement, and aesthetics. Infrastructure Design: Designing the resort's infrastructure, including roads, parking lots, sidewalks, utilities (water supply, sewage, drainage, and electrical systems), and landscaping features. Ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards. Structural Engineering: Designing and analyzing structural elements such as buildings, bridges, retaining walls, and other civil engineering structures to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with building codes and industry standards. Environmental Engineering: Assessing the environmental impact of resort development projects and implementing sustainable practices to minimize ecological disruption. Designing stormwater management systems, erosion control measures, and wastewater treatment facilities. Construction Management: Overseeing construction activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. Collaborating with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve issues and maintain quality control. Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies for resort development projects. Ensuring compliance with zoning regulations, environmental laws, building codes, and safety standards. Project Planning and Budgeting: Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets for resort development initiatives. Estimating costs, resource requirements, and timelines. Monitoring project progress and addressing any deviations from the plan. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identifying potential risks and hazards associated with resort development projects, such as geotechnical instability, environmental contamination, or regulatory non-compliance. Implementing risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts. Quality Assurance and Quality Control: Establishing quality standards and specifications for construction materials and workmanship. Conducting inspections and tests to ensure that construction activities meet quality requirements and standards. Maintenance and Asset Management: Developing maintenance plans and schedules for resort infrastructure and facilities. Monitoring the condition of assets, performing routine inspections, and scheduling repairs and upgrades as needed to prolong the lifespan and functionality of resort assets.
