Job description

Site Development: Lead the design and development of automotive facilities such as dealerships, service centers, and manufacturing plants. This includes site selection, land surveying, site planning, and feasibility studies to ensure optimal use of space and resources. Road and Transportation Infrastructure: Design and oversee the construction of roadways, highways, and access roads within automotive facilities. Develop plans for road alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and grading to facilitate safe and efficient vehicle movement. Parking Facilities: Design parking lots and structures to accommodate vehicles at automotive facilities. Develop layouts, configurations, and capacity calculations to optimize parking space and circulation flow. Stormwater Management: Design stormwater management systems, including drainage networks, retention ponds, and erosion control measures. Implement strategies to mitigate the impact of stormwater runoff on automotive facilities and surrounding areas. Utility Infrastructure: Coordinate the design and installation of utility infrastructure, including water supply, sewer systems, electrical utilities, and telecommunications infrastructure. Ensure compatibility with automotive facility requirements and local regulations. Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards governing automotive facility construction and operation. Address environmental concerns such as pollution prevention, habitat preservation, and sustainable design practices. Construction Management: Oversee construction activities and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to resolve issues and maintain quality standards. Quality Assurance and Control: Implement quality assurance and control measures to ensure the integrity and durability of constructed infrastructure. Conduct inspections, tests, and evaluations to verify compliance with engineering standards and specifications. Safety Management: Prioritize safety in all aspects of automotive facility construction and operation. Identify and mitigate potential hazards, develop safety protocols, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Project Planning and Budgeting: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for automotive infrastructure projects. Monitor project progress, track expenditures, and make adjustments as needed to meet project objectives and financial goals. Regulatory Compliance: Navigate regulatory requirements and obtain necessary permits and approvals for automotive facility projects. Ensure that designs and construction activities comply with building codes, zoning ordinances, and other legal requirements.
