Job description

Drafting Technical Drawings: Using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for various civil engineering projects within the resort, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details. Site Layout and Landscaping: Creating site layout plans that depict the positioning of buildings, roads, parking lots, walkways, landscaping features, and other site amenities within the resort property, ensuring accurate placement and alignment according to design specifications. Structural Detailing: Generating detailed drawings and specifications for structural components such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and other elements of buildings and civil engineering structures, including dimensions, materials, and construction details. Utility Drawings: Developing drawings and plans for utility infrastructure systems such as water supply, sewage, drainage, and electrical distribution, including pipe networks, manholes, junction boxes, and utility corridors. Grading and Drainage Plans: Drafting grading and drainage plans that illustrate the topography of the site, the grading of land surfaces, and the layout of drainage systems, including swales, culverts, catch basins, and retention ponds. Construction Details: Creating detailed drawings and sections that depict construction details, connections, and assemblies for various building components and structural elements, ensuring clarity and accuracy for construction implementation. Quantity Takeoffs: Assisting in the estimation of material quantities and construction costs by generating quantity takeoffs from drawings and plans, including calculations for materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and paving. Code Compliance: Ensuring that drawings and plans comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards and requirements applicable to resort development projects, including accessibility standards and environmental regulations. Revision Management: Managing revisions and updates to drawings and plans throughout the design and construction process, incorporating feedback from engineers, architects, and project managers, and maintaining accurate documentation of changes. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with civil engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to coordinate design efforts, resolve technical issues, and ensure that drawings and plans meet project objectives and timelines.
