Job description

Drafting and Design: Using AutoCAD software to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure. This includes creating 2D and 3D models, floor plans, elevations, sections, and cross-sections. Site Analysis: Analyzing site survey data, topographical maps, and engineering drawings to understand site conditions and constraints. Civil AutoCAD designers use this information to create accurate and efficient designs that meet project requirements and comply with regulatory standards. Creating Construction Documents: Developing construction documents and drawings that provide instructions for contractors and construction teams to build and implement civil engineering projects. This includes preparing detailed drawings for foundations, structures, utilities, drainage systems, and other components. Collaboration: Working closely with civil engineers, architects, surveyors, and other professionals involved in the design and construction process. Civil AutoCAD designers collaborate to integrate various design elements, address technical challenges, and ensure that project objectives are met. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrating proficiency in using AutoCAD software and other related tools and technologies for drafting and design. Civil AutoCAD designers should have a strong understanding of CAD principles, drafting standards, and best practices for creating accurate and efficient drawings. Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving design issues, conflicts, and discrepancies that may arise during the design process.
