Experiment with traditional cooking techniques, sauces, and seasoning blends to create innovative and memorable dishes. Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and cooking of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, steamed dishes, noodle soups, dumplings, and seafood specialties. Ensure that ingredients are fresh, properly prepped, and cooked to perfection. Ingredient Sourcing: Source high-quality ingredients and specialty items for Chinese cooking, including fresh produce, meats, seafood, tofu, and Chinese herbs and spices. Establish relationships with local suppliers and vendors to procure authentic Chinese ingredients. Kitchen Management: Manage kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory control. Supervise kitchen staff, provide training and guidance, and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
