Job description

System Installation: Installing CCTV cameras, monitors, recording equipment, and related components in designated areas according to blueprints, diagrams, or specifications. Mounting cameras, running cables, and connecting devices to establish a functional surveillance system. Configuration and Setup: Configuring CCTV systems and software settings to meet specific requirements and operational needs. Adjusting camera angles, resolutions, frame rates, and recording settings for optimal performance. Testing and Calibration: Testing newly installed CCTV systems to verify functionality, image quality, and coverage. Calibrating cameras, lenses, and recording equipment to ensure proper operation and alignment. Maintenance and Upkeep: Performing routine maintenance tasks on CCTV systems to ensure reliability and longevity. Cleaning cameras and lenses, inspecting cables and connections, and replacing defective or worn components as needed. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, malfunctions, or performance problems with CCTV equipment and systems. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to restore functionality. System Upgrades and Expansion: Upgrading existing CCTV systems with new hardware, software, or features to enhance performance or meet changing requirements. Expanding surveillance coverage by adding additional cameras, monitors, or recording devices as needed. Network Integration: Integrating CCTV systems with existing network infrastructure or security systems. Configuring network settings, IP addresses, and protocols to enable remote monitoring, access control, and data transmission. Remote Monitoring and Management: Setting up remote monitoring capabilities for CCTV systems, allowing authorized users to view live or recorded video feeds from any location with internet access. Implementing remote management tools for system administration and troubleshooting. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of CCTV installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and service calls. Completing service reports, work orders, and documentation required for billing, warranty claims, and compliance purposes. Customer Interaction: Interacting with clients, building owners, or security personnel to discuss CCTV system requirements, provide technical support, and address concerns. Providing training and instruction on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.
