Diagnostic Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures on vehicles to assess performance, identify issues, and gather data for analysis. Interpret test results, identify anomalies or discrepancies, and generate reports summarizing findings. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain specialized equipment and instrumentation used in automotive diagnostic testing, such as dynamometers, emissions analyzers, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition systems. Ensure equipment is calibrated, functioning properly, and used according to manufacturer specifications. Test Procedure Development: Develop standardized test procedures and protocols for conducting diagnostic tests and evaluations on vehicles. Establish testing criteria, parameters, and performance metrics to ensure consistency and repeatability of test results. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of diagnostic test results. Follow established protocols, standards, and best practices to minimize errors and maintain data integrity throughout the testing process. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others in the Cath Lab. Follow safety guidelines for equipment operation, chemical handling, and emergency response to prevent accidents and injuries. Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and other automotive professionals involved in vehicle testing and development projects. Communicate test requirements, share findings, and coordinate efforts to achieve project objectives and deadlines. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of diagnostic tests, procedures, and results in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Document test parameters, observations, and conclusions for future reference and analysis. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues or challenges encountered during diagnostic testing procedures. Identify root causes of problems, implement corrective actions, and consult with colleagues or supervisors as needed to resolve issues effectively. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in automotive technology, diagnostic methods, and testing procedures. Attend training programs, workshops, and industry conferences to expand knowledge and skills relevant to Cath Lab operations in the automotive industry. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in Cath Lab operations. Propose enhancements to testing protocols, equipment maintenance procedures, or data analysis techniques to increase efficiency and productivity. Customer Support: Provide support to internal and external stakeholders regarding diagnostic testing services and capabilities offered by the Cath Lab. Respond to inquiries, address concerns, and assist with project planning and coordination as needed. Project Management: Manage testing projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and deliverable management.
