Job description

Safety Features Evaluation: When assessing cars, you'll likely examine safety features such as airbags, seat belts, anti-lock braking systems (ABS), traction control, stability control, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). These features contribute to the overall security of the vehicle and its occupants in the event of an accident. Crash Test Ratings: You may refer to crash test ratings from organizations like the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). These ratings evaluate the crashworthiness and safety performance of vehicles in various crash scenarios, providing valuable insights into their security levels. Security Systems: Assessing the security systems of vehicles is essential for preventing theft and unauthorized access. This includes evaluating features like remote keyless entry, alarm systems, engine immobilizers, and GPS tracking devices. These systems help protect the vehicle from theft and enhance its overall security. Child Safety: Evaluating the child safety features of vehicles is important, especially for families. This includes examining features such as rear-seat child safety locks, child seat anchor points (LATCH), and the availability of rear-seat airbags to ensure the security of children passengers. Anti-Theft Measures: Assessing the effectiveness of anti-theft measures is crucial for deterring theft and protecting the vehicle and its contents. This involves evaluating features like electronic vehicle immobilization systems, steering wheel locks, and VIN etching to enhance the security of the vehicle. Roadworthiness Inspection: While not directly related to security, conducting a thorough roadworthiness inspection is important for identifying any mechanical issues or safety concerns that could compromise the security of the vehicle while driving.
