Recipe Development: Develop and refine cake recipes, including cake batter, fillings, frostings, and decorations, to create high-quality and flavorful cakes. Experiment with different ingredients, flavors, and techniques to create unique and innovative cake creations. Baking: Prepare cake batters, fillings, and frostings according to established recipes and quality standards. Bake cakes in various sizes and shapes using conventional or specialized baking equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and molds. Decoration: Decorate cakes using various techniques such as piping, fondant modeling, sculpting, and edible painting to create custom designs and decorations. Pay attention to detail and craftsmanship to achieve aesthetically pleasing and visually stunning cake creations. Assembly: Assemble cake layers, fillings, and frostings to create multi-tiered cakes or custom cake designs. Ensure that cakes are structurally sound and stable, using supports or dowels as needed to prevent collapsing or shifting during transportation. Finishing Touches: Add final touches and embellishments to cakes such as edible flowers, fondant accents, chocolate ganache drizzles, or sugar decorations to enhance visual appeal and presentation. Pay attention to color coordination, symmetry, and balance in cake design. Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on finished cakes to ensure they meet established standards for taste, texture, appearance, and freshness.
