Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential target markets for the resort's services and amenities. Analyze competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and customer preferences to inform business development strategies. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. Identify key growth areas, market segments, and new business opportunities for the resort. Client Acquisition: Identify and prospect potential clients, including corporate clients, group bookings, event organizers, travel agencies, and online travel agencies (OTAs). Build and nurture relationships with clients through networking, outreach, and personalized communications. Sales and Negotiation: Lead sales efforts to secure new business and generate revenue for the resort. Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals with prospective clients. Develop pricing proposals, contracts, and agreements in consultation with management. Partnerships and Alliances: Identify and establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations with complementary businesses, industry organizations, and affiliates to expand the resort's reach and customer base. Negotiate partnership agreements and mutually beneficial arrangements. Marketing and Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives to support business development goals. Utilize digital marketing channels, social media, and targeted marketing strategies to reach potential clients. Event Planning and Management: Plan and organize promotional events, trade shows, industry conferences, and client meetings to showcase the resort's offerings and services. Coordinate logistics, sponsorship opportunities, and attendee engagement to maximize event impact. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track client interactions, manage leads, and nurture client relationships. Provide personalized follow-up, support, and assistance to clients throughout the sales cycle. Proposal Development: Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and pitch materials tailored to the needs and preferences of prospective clients. Highlight the resort's unique selling points, amenities, and value propositions to differentiate from competitors. Revenue Forecasting and Reporting: Forecast revenue projections, track sales performance, and report progress against targets to senior management. Analyze sales data, conversion rates, and pipeline metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
