A business development executive or a business development manager is a sales professional who helps an organisation to grow by identifying and developing new business opportunities. Their duties include searching for new clients, finding new potential services to offer, and helping the company expand to new markets. Business development executives are responsible for driving company sales by sourcing new clients, and by convincing existing clients to purchase added offerings. As such, business development executives play an integral role in companies' longevity.
