Job description

Sales Management: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability for the branch. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for growth or improvement. Set sales targets, quotas, and incentives for sales staff and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support to customers throughout their buying journey. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships. Implement customer retention strategies, such as loyalty programs or follow-up procedures, to foster long-term customer loyalty and repeat business. Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate branch staff, including sales representatives, service technicians, administrative personnel, and support staff. Delegate responsibilities, assign tasks, and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure staff productivity and engagement. Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage professional development and career growth opportunities for staff members. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and stock availability to meet customer demand and sales targets. Monitor inventory turnover rates, aging stock, and obsolete inventory and implement strategies to optimize inventory management and minimize carrying costs. Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution centers to replenish stock and maintain adequate inventory levels. Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the branch, including revenue projections, expenses, and capital investments. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and take corrective actions to ensure profitability and cost efficiency. Implement controls and procedures to safeguard assets, minimize risks, and maintain compliance with financial policies and regulations. Marketing and Promotion: Plan and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness, attract new customers, and drive sales. Utilize various marketing channels, such as advertising, social media, email marketing, and events, to reach target audiences and generate leads. Collaborate with marketing teams, advertising agencies, and vendors to develop creative and effective marketing strategies and materials. Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards governing automotive sales, finance, and operations. Stay updated on regulatory changes, licensing requirements, and consumer protection laws to ensure adherence and mitigate legal risks. Implement policies and procedures to maintain ethical conduct, transparency, and integrity in all business practices. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, manufacturers, financial institutions, and community organizations. Network with industry peers, attend industry events, and participate in professional associations to build a strong professional network and stay informed about industry trends and best practices. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for the branch aligned with the broader objectives of the automotive organization. Identify market opportunities, assess competitive threats, and formulate strategies to position the branch for long-term growth and success. Collaborate with senior management and regional executives to align branch goals with company objectives and contribute to overall corporate strategy. Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and effectiveness of branch operations. Track and analyze performance data, including sales metrics, customer satisfaction scores, and financial results, to evaluate performance against targets and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management on branch performance, achievements, and challenges.
