Job description

Curriculum Development: Designing and developing lesson plans, laboratory experiments, and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives for biology education. Subject Instruction: Teaching key concepts, principles, and theories in biology, including cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, physiology, and anatomy. Explaining complex biological processes and phenomena in a clear and understandable manner. Laboratory Instruction: Planning and conducting laboratory experiments and investigations to help students explore biological concepts and principles hands-on. Demonstrating proper lab techniques, safety procedures, and scientific inquiry skills. Hands-on Learning: Incorporating hands-on activities, demonstrations, and simulations to make abstract biological concepts more tangible and engaging for students. Encouraging inquiry, exploration, and critical thinking in learning. Field Trips: Organizing and leading field trips to natural habitats, botanical gardens, zoos, or other relevant locations to provide students with real-world examples of biological concepts and phenomena. Technology Integration: Utilizing technology tools and resources to enhance biology instruction, such as interactive simulations, virtual dissections, multimedia presentations, and educational software. Assessment and Evaluation: Assessing student understanding and mastery of biology concepts through quizzes, tests, projects, laboratory reports, and other forms of assessment. Providing timely and constructive feedback to support student learning and improvement. Individualized Support: Providing individualized support and guidance to students who may be struggling with specific biology concepts or skills. Offering additional instruction, resources, or tutoring as needed to help students succeed. Classroom Management: Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment conducive to scientific inquiry and exploration. Establishing clear expectations, routines, and behavioral norms for students. Student Engagement: Engaging students in active learning through discussions, cooperative learning activities, problem-solving tasks, and real-world applications of biology concepts. Encouraging curiosity and fostering a passion for biology.
