Invoicing and Billing: Generating and issuing invoices to customers based on services rendered or products sold. Verifying accuracy of billing data, including prices, quantities, discounts, and applicable taxes. Payment Processing: Recording payments received from customers and updating accounts receivable records. Reconciling discrepancies between invoices and payments and following up on outstanding balances. Customer Interaction: Responding to customer inquiries regarding billing issues, payment terms, and account status. Providing assistance and resolving billing disputes or discrepancies in a professional and timely manner. Financial Reporting: Compiling billing data and preparing reports summarizing billing activities, accounts receivable status, and aging analysis. Providing regular updates and financial information to management or other departments as required. Data Entry and Documentation: Entering billing and payment information accurately into accounting systems or billing software. Maintaining organized records and documentation related to billing transactions and customer communications. Compliance and Accuracy: Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements related to billing and invoicing. Performing periodic audits of billing processes to identify errors, discrepancies, or opportunities for improvement. System Maintenance and Improvement: Utilizing billing software and systems effectively to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Contributing to the implementation of system upgrades, enhancements, or changes to improve billing operations. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments such as sales, customer service, and finance to resolve billing-related issues and improve overall customer satisfaction. Providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed to achieve team goals and objectives.
