Customer Service: Greeting customers warmly, addressing their inquiries about medications and health products, and ensuring they have a positive experience while visiting the pharmacy. Prescription Processing: Receiving prescriptions from healthcare providers, accurately entering prescription details into the pharmacy system, and verifying patient information to ensure correctness and compliance. Medication Dispensing: Dispensing prescription medications safely and precisely, following legal and regulatory guidelines. Providing clear labeling with dosage instructions and offering counseling on medication use. OTC Product Knowledge: Offering guidance on over-the-counter medications, supplements, and health products. Informing customers about usage, potential side effects, and interactions with other medications. Patient Counseling: Providing detailed counseling to patients on their medications, including dosage instructions, possible side effects, interactions, and proper storage conditions. Health and Wellness Advice: Advising customers on health and wellness topics such as lifestyle modifications, preventive care measures, and disease management strategies. Promoting medication adherence and patient education. Inventory Management: Monitoring medication and product inventory levels, ordering stock, receiving deliveries, and restocking shelves to ensure availability for customers. Cashier Duties: Handling transactions accurately, processing payments, and maintaining customer confidentiality while adhering to cash management policies. Pharmacy Operations Support: Assisting with the overall operations of the pharmacy, including maintaining cleanliness, organizing inventory, disposing of expired medications safely, and complying with regulatory requirements. Health Insurance Processing: Assisting customers with health insurance claims, verifying insurance information, submitting claims electronically, and addressing insurance-related inquiries to facilitate smooth transactions. Promotions and Sales Initiatives: Participating in promotional activities, sales campaigns, and marketing efforts to inform customers about special offers, discounts, and loyalty programs available at the pharmacy. Continuous Learning: Engaging in ongoing training programs, continuing education opportunities, and product knowledge sessions to stay updated with industry regulations, healthcare trends, and new medications. This helps maintain competence and provide informed advice to customers.
