Job description

Generating Invoices: Creating and issuing invoices to customers or clients for goods or services rendered. This involves accurately recording details such as the quantity, price, and description of products or services provided. Processing Payments: Recording and processing payments received from customers, including cash, checks, credit card payments, and electronic transfers. Reconciling Accounts: Reconciling accounts receivable records with payments received to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies. Following up on Outstanding Payments: Contacting customers to follow up on overdue payments, sending reminders, and arranging payment plans if necessary. Resolving Billing Discrepancies: Investigating and resolving any billing discrepancies or disputes with customers, such as incorrect charges or missing payments. Maintaining Billing Records: Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of invoices, payments, and customer communications using accounting software or billing systems. Generating Reports: Generating reports on billing activities, accounts receivable aging, and other key metrics to track the organization's financial performance. Coordinating with Other Departments: Collaborating with sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure that billing processes align with business operations and customer needs. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with billing regulations, industry standards, and company policies, including data protection and privacy regulations. Customer Service: Providing assistance and support to customers regarding billing inquiries, payment options, and account information. Updating Billing Policies: Keeping abreast of changes in billing practices, regulations, and technology, and updating billing policies and procedures accordingly.
