Job description

Installation: Battery technicians are responsible for installing battery storage systems as part of solar energy projects. This involves working closely with solar installers to integrate batteries with solar panels, inverters, and other components of the system. Technicians must ensure that batteries are safely and securely installed according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Testing and Commissioning: After installation, battery technicians conduct testing and commissioning activities to verify that battery storage systems are functioning correctly. This includes testing battery performance, charging and discharging capabilities, and communication with other system components. Technicians troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and ensure that systems are commissioned to meet performance requirements. Maintenance and Repair: Battery technicians perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of battery storage systems. This may include inspecting batteries for signs of wear or damage, cleaning terminals and connections, and performing diagnostic tests to identify potential issues.
