Job description

Client Assessment: Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their Ayurvedic constitution (dosha), current health status, and wellness goals. This may involve analyzing physical characteristics, lifestyle factors, medical history, and emotional well-being. Treatment Planning: Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and doshic imbalance. This may include recommendations for dietary adjustments, lifestyle modifications, herbal supplements, and therapeutic interventions to restore balance and promote healing. Therapeutic Interventions: Administering a variety of Ayurvedic therapies and treatments to promote health and well-being. This may include: Abhyanga (Ayurvedic oil massage): Using specific herbal oils and techniques to nourish the skin, relax the muscles, and balance the doshas. Shirodhara: Pouring warm herbal oil in a continuous stream onto the forehead to calm the mind, relieve stress, and promote mental clarity. Panchakarma: Performing detoxification therapies such as Vamana (emesis), Virechana (purgation), Basti (enema), Nasya (nasal administration), and Raktamokshana (bloodletting) to remove toxins and rejuvenate the body. Swedana: Providing herbal steam therapy to induce sweating, eliminate toxins, and promote relaxation. Ayurvedic diet and nutrition counseling: Offering guidance on dietary choices and meal planning based on individual constitution and health needs. Yoga and Pranayama: Recommending specific yoga asanas (postures) and breathing exercises to balance the doshas, improve flexibility, and enhance overall well-being. Education and Empowerment: Educating clients about Ayurvedic principles, self-care practices, and lifestyle recommendations to support their healing journey. This may include teaching clients about the importance of dinacharya (daily routine), ritucharya (seasonal routine), and sattvic lifestyle choices. Mind-Body Integration: Recognizing the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit in health and wellness. Providing holistic care that addresses emotional well-being, stress management, and spiritual growth alongside physical health. Client Support: Offering compassionate support and guidance to clients throughout their healing process. Empowering clients to take an active role in their health and well-being by making informed choices and adopting healthy habits. Continuing Education: Engaging in ongoing professional development and training to enhance knowledge and skills in Ayurvedic therapies, treatments, and holistic wellness practices. Staying informed about advancements in Ayurvedic medicine and integrative healthcare approaches. Ethical Practice: Adhering to ethical standards and guidelines in the practice of Ayurveda. Respecting clients' autonomy, privacy, and confidentiality while providing compassionate and respectful care.
