Job description

Patient Care: Providing direct patient care under the guidance and supervision of Ayurvedic physicians. This may include assisting patients with activities of daily living, administering treatments, and monitoring vital signs. Assessment: Conducting patient assessments to gather information about the patient's health status, symptoms, and treatment needs. This may involve performing physical assessments, obtaining medical histories, and assessing patients' dosha (constitution) according to Ayurvedic principles. Treatment Support: Assisting with the implementation of Ayurvedic treatment plans prescribed by Ayurvedic physicians. This may include administering herbal remedies, preparing and administering Ayurvedic therapies such as oil massages or herbal baths, and providing dietary and lifestyle guidance to patients. Education: Educating patients about Ayurvedic principles, practices, and treatments to support their understanding and participation in their own healthcare. This may involve explaining the concepts of dosha, diet, lifestyle, and self-care practices recommended by Ayurvedic physicians. Communication: Serving as a liaison between patients, Ayurvedic physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. This includes conveying information about patients' conditions, treatment plans, and progress to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, treatments administered, and patient responses to treatment. This documentation is essential for tracking patient progress, evaluating treatment effectiveness, and ensuring continuity of care. Holistic Care: Supporting patients' overall health and well-being by addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health. This may involve providing emotional support, encouraging stress-reduction techniques, and promoting wellness practices such as yoga and meditation. Collaboration: Collaborating with Ayurvedic physicians, other healthcare providers, and allied health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care to patients. This may involve participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing information, and coordinating care plans. Health Promotion: Promoting health and wellness within the community through education, outreach, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
