Job description

Patient Care: Providing compassionate care to patients undergoing Ayurvedic treatments. This includes assisting with their daily needs, monitoring their condition, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Treatment Assistance: Supporting Ayurvedic doctors or practitioners in administering therapies and treatments prescribed to patients. This may involve preparing herbal remedies, assisting with detoxification therapies (Panchakarma), and performing therapeutic procedures like oil massages (Abhyanga), steam treatments (Swedana), and herbal baths. Patient Education: Educating patients about Ayurvedic principles, therapies, and lifestyle recommendations prescribed by the doctor. This includes explaining the benefits of treatments, dietary adjustments, and self-care practices to promote healing and overall health. Health Assessment: Assisting in assessing patients' health status through observation, vital signs monitoring, and gathering relevant information about their symptoms, diet, and lifestyle habits. Documentation and Record-keeping: Maintaining accurate records of patient treatments, progress notes, and any relevant medical information. Ensuring documentation is thorough, organized, and compliant with regulatory standards. Assisting in Consultations: Supporting Ayurvedic doctors during patient consultations by taking notes, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting with examinations or procedures as needed. Herbal Medicine Preparation: Assisting in the preparation and administration of Ayurvedic herbal medicines and formulations prescribed by the doctor. This includes ensuring the correct dosage and preparation methods are followed. Hygiene and Safety: Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in treatment rooms, equipment, and patient care areas. Adhering to infection control protocols and promoting a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Collaborating effectively with Ayurvedic doctors, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care. Communicating patient progress, concerns, and recommendations as appropriate. Continuing Education: Participating in continuing education programs and workshops to enhance knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, therapies, and healthcare practices. Staying updated with advancements in Ayurvedic medicine and integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.
