Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of automotive technicians, mechanics, and service advisors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance, productivity, and teamwork. Workshop Management: Manage the daily operations of the workshop, including scheduling work assignments, allocating resources, and coordinating workflow to meet service deadlines and customer expectations. Technical Assistance: Provide technical expertise and assistance to service technicians and mechanics, troubleshooting complex vehicle issues, interpreting diagnostic data, and offering solutions to resolve challenging repair tasks. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures and inspection procedures to ensure that vehicle repairs and maintenance services meet manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and customer satisfaction goals. Diagnostic Analysis: Review diagnostic reports, service records, and customer complaints to identify recurring issues, trends, or opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to address technical challenges and enhance service efficiency. Parts Management: Oversee the ordering, stocking, and distribution of automotive parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring accurate inventory levels, timely procurement, and cost-effective sourcing to support repair operations. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, procedures, and best practices in the workshop environment, including proper handling of hazardous materials, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to safety protocols. Customer Communication: Interact with customers to discuss vehicle repair needs, provide service recommendations, explain repair procedures, and address any concerns or questions, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the service process. Technical Training: Coordinate training programs and workshops for service staff to enhance their technical skills, knowledge of new automotive technologies, and proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of workshop equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring proper functionality, safety compliance, and longevity of assets to support efficient repair operations. Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and recognize achievements of service staff, identifying areas for improvement and implementing development plans to enhance team effectiveness and morale. Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, optimize workflow, and enhance service quality and customer satisfaction, leveraging feedback, data analysis, and benchmarking to drive operational excellence. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service activities, repair orders, labor hours, parts usage, and customer interactions using service management software systems, and generate reports for analysis, tracking, and compliance purposes.
