Technical Guidance: Offer technical expertise and guidance to technicians on complex repair issues, diagnostic procedures, and service techniques. Provide support and assistance as needed to resolve technical challenges and ensure work meets industry standards. Workshop Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the automotive workshop or service center. Coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to maximize productivity and meet customer service objectives. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work performed meets or exceeds established standards for safety, reliability, and performance. Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks to verify the accuracy and thoroughness of repairs and maintenance. Diagnostic Support: Assist technicians in diagnosing complex vehicle problems, utilizing diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical resources. Review diagnostic findings, interpret data, and provide recommendations for appropriate repair procedures. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for automotive technicians to enhance their skills, knowledge, and proficiency. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job coaching to promote continuous learning and professional growth. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to understand their vehicle service needs, address inquiries or concerns, and provide updates on repair progress. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times. Parts and Inventory Management: Manage parts inventory and procurement processes to ensure timely availability of necessary parts and components for vehicle repairs. Monitor inventory levels, order replenishments, and optimize stock levels to minimize delays and maximize efficiency. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for technicians and customers. Conduct safety inspections, address safety hazards, and promote adherence to safety protocols and best practices. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs, maintenance activities, parts usage, and service history. Generate reports, documentation, and performance metrics to track workshop operations, monitor key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement.
