Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of automobile technicians and mechanics. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating training and development opportunities. Workflow Management: Coordinate and prioritize the workflow within the workshop to ensure efficient and timely completion of repair and maintenance tasks. Monitor work progress, allocate resources effectively, and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and customer expectations. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and assistance to technicians and mechanics as needed. Offer guidance on troubleshooting complex vehicle issues, interpreting diagnostic data, and selecting appropriate repair procedures and techniques. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that repairs and maintenance services meet industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Conduct inspections and audits to verify the quality of workmanship and identify areas for improvement. Diagnostic Support: Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex vehicle problems. Review diagnostic reports, analyze symptoms, and recommend appropriate repair solutions based on technical knowledge and experience. Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their vehicle repair and maintenance needs. Provide accurate cost estimates, explain repair options, and address any questions or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Parts Management: Oversee the procurement and management of automotive parts and supplies. Coordinate with suppliers to order parts, track inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of required components for repair and maintenance jobs. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines in all technical operations. Promote a culture of safety awareness among staff members, enforce safety protocols, and address any safety concerns or hazards promptly. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all workshop equipment and tools are well-maintained and in good working condition. Schedule regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development among technical staff. Arrange training sessions, workshops, and certifications to enhance the knowledge and expertise of team members in automotive repair and maintenance techniques. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of repair and maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, and customer feedback. Generate reports on workshop performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
