Inventory Management: Oversee the management of spare parts inventory, including stock levels, ordering, replenishment, and storage. Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Procurement and Supplier Management: Source spare parts from suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and maintain vendor relationships. Place orders for new stock, track order status, and coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Parts Identification and Classification: Identify, label, and classify spare parts according to manufacturer specifications, part numbers, and compatibility with different vehicle makes and models. Organize parts inventory in a logical and accessible manner for efficient retrieval. Sales and Customer Service: Assist customers in identifying and selecting the right spare parts for their vehicles, providing product recommendations, pricing information, and availability. Process spare parts sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers and service technicians regarding spare parts selection, installation, and compatibility. Offer expertise on parts specifications, applications, and fitment to address customer inquiries and concerns. Order Fulfillment and Dispatch: Coordinate the fulfillment of spare parts orders, picking parts from inventory, packaging orders, and arranging for timely delivery or pickup. Ensure accurate order fulfillment, correct part identification, and proper packaging to prevent damage during transit. Returns and Warranty Management: Handle returns and warranty claims for defective or incorrect spare parts, following established procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Process returns, issue refunds or replacements, and update inventory records accordingly. Stock Reconciliation and Reporting: Conduct regular stock reconciliations to verify inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and reconcile inventory records. Forecasting and Demand Planning: Analyze sales trends, customer demand patterns, and vehicle service requirements to forecast spare parts demand accurately.
