Inventory Management: Ensuring the availability of a sufficient stock of spare parts to meet customer demand and service department requirements. This involves maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ordering replenishments as needed to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Procurement: Sourcing spare parts from suppliers, manufacturers, or distributors to replenish stock levels and fulfill customer orders. Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms. Parts Identification: Overseeing the organization and labeling of spare parts inventory to facilitate easy identification, retrieval, and distribution. Ensuring that parts are correctly labeled with part numbers, descriptions, and pricing information for accurate tracking and sales. Order Processing: Managing the processing of customer orders for spare parts, including receiving orders, picking parts from inventory, packaging orders, and coordinating shipment or delivery to customers. Ensuring timely order fulfillment and accuracy to meet customer expectations. Sales and Customer Service: Assisting customers in identifying and selecting the correct spare parts for their vehicles. Providing product recommendations, pricing information, and technical assistance to customers to ensure satisfaction and build rapport. Quotations and Invoicing: Providing customers with accurate quotations for spare parts, including pricing, availability, and delivery options. Returns and Warranty Claims: Handling returns, exchanges, and warranty claims for defective or incorrect parts. Team Supervision: Leading and supervising a team of spare parts staff, including parts counter personnel, stock clerks, and warehouse workers. Providing training, guidance, and support to ensure team members perform their duties effectively and efficiently. Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, authenticity, and integrity of spare parts inventory. Conducting regular inspections, audits, and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy and identify discrepancies or discrepancies.
