Supervises stock order procedures. Sets and enforces a policy on the special ordering of parts. Ensures that stock orders represent at least (established %) percent of all orders. Analyzes sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals. A Parts Manager, or Auto Parts Manager, is responsible for maintaining the stock of replacement parts. Their duties include inventory control, sourcing parts and customer service. Provides high level of service to internal and external customers. Pulls and fills orders from stock. Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
