Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records of automobile spare parts, including stock levels, incoming shipments, and outgoing orders. Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify discrepancies. Stock Replenishment and Procurement: Forecasting demand for spare parts based on historical data, customer trends, and service department needs. Placing orders with suppliers or manufacturers to replenish stock in a timely manner and avoid stockouts. Parts Identification and Cataloging: Identifying and cataloging automotive spare parts using part numbers, descriptions, and vehicle compatibility information. Ensuring parts are correctly labeled, stored, and easily accessible for efficient retrieval. Customer Service and Sales: Assisting service advisors and technicians in identifying required parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance. Providing excellent customer service by promptly fulfilling parts requests, offering alternatives when necessary, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Vendor Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with parts suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Evaluating supplier performance and seeking opportunities to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs. Quality Control and Warranty Management: Ensuring the authenticity and quality of spare parts received from suppliers, verifying against specifications and manufacturer standards. Handling warranty claims and returns, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers as needed. Documentation and Reporting: Generating reports on inventory levels, sales trends, and parts usage for management review.
