Inventory Management: Oversee the stock levels of automobile spare parts, ensuring adequate availability to meet customer demands while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts. Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock turnover and reduce carrying costs. Procurement and Supplier Management: Source and procure spare parts from suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules to obtain the best possible value. Evaluate supplier performance and establish relationships with reliable vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of quality spare parts. Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand for spare parts based on historical sales data, seasonal trends, and customer orders. Place purchase orders as needed to replenish stock and maintain optimal inventory levels. Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments of spare parts, inspecting them for quality, accuracy, and completeness. Verify that received parts match purchase orders and packing slips, resolving any discrepancies or issues with suppliers as necessary. Storage and Organization: Ensure proper storage and organization of spare parts in the warehouse or storage facility, following best practices for inventory management, labeling, and shelving. Implement systems for easy retrieval, picking, and packing of parts to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Sales and Distribution: Process customer orders for spare parts, both through walk-in customers and internal service departments. Provide assistance and guidance to customers in selecting the right parts for their vehicles, offering recommendations and alternatives as needed. Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare spare parts orders for shipment or customer pickup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment. Coordinate with shipping and logistics partners to arrange for timely delivery of orders to customers or service centers. Customer Service and Support: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints regarding spare parts, providing prompt and courteous assistance to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Offer technical advice and support to customers on spare part compatibility, installation, and usage. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory, sales transactions, customer orders, and supplier contracts.
