Inventory Management: Supervise the procurement, storage, and distribution of automobile spare parts inventory. Ensure optimal levels of stock to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence. Order Processing: Receive and process orders for spare parts from customers, service technicians, and other departments. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and components. Stock Control: Implement inventory control measures to monitor stock levels, track movements, and conduct regular stock audits. Identify discrepancies, shortages, or surplus inventory and take corrective actions as needed. Parts Sales: Assist customers in identifying the right spare parts for their vehicles. Provide product information, pricing, and availability details. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors of automobile spare parts. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements and optimize procurement costs. Quality Control: Ensure that all spare parts meet quality standards and specifications. Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and condition. Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims as necessary. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Address inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide assistance in a courteous and professional manner. Technical Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of automobile parts and components, including their functions, compatibility, and applications across different vehicle models and brands. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of spare parts transactions, sales, and inventory movements. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of spare parts staff, including parts clerks, sales associates, and warehouse personnel. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure team productivity and performance.
