Parts Ordering and Procurement: Managing the ordering process for spare parts from suppliers and manufacturers. Parts Incharges coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and negotiate pricing to maintain profitability. Parts Sales and Customer Service: Assisting customers and service technicians with identifying and sourcing the correct parts for vehicle repairs or upgrades. They provide guidance on parts selection, availability, pricing, and alternatives when necessary. Price Quoting and Estimation: Providing accurate price quotes and estimates for spare parts to customers and service advisors. This involves understanding pricing structures, discounts, and markups based on dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of parts transactions, including sales, returns, warranties, and special orders.
