Inventory management: Overseeing the inventory of spare parts, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts. Procurement: Ordering spare parts from suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring timely delivery to maintain inventory levels and meet customer needs. Stock organization: Organizing spare parts in a systematic manner to facilitate easy retrieval and efficient warehouse operations. Implementing inventory management systems or software for better tracking and organization. Quality control: Inspecting incoming spare parts for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet specifications and standards before being added to inventory. Stock rotation: Implementing FIFO (first in, first out) or FEFO (first expired, first out) methods to rotate stock and minimize the risk of obsolete or expired parts. Pricing and sales: Establishing pricing strategies for spare parts based on factors such as cost, demand, and competition. Providing price quotes to customers and processing sales transactions. Customer service: Assisting customers in identifying and selecting the right spare parts for their vehicles. Addressing inquiries, providing product information, and resolving any issues or complaints. Vendor management: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure favorable terms, reliable supply, and quality products. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, sales, and customer interactions. Generating reports and analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
