Communicate inspection findings and service recommendations clearly and accurately to customers, using layman's terms to explain technical issues. Service Recommendations and Estimation: Provide customers with detailed service recommendations, prioritizing repairs based on urgency, safety concerns, and budget constraints. Prepare cost estimates and service quotes for recommended repairs, parts, and labor, ensuring transparency and accuracy in pricing. Appointment Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule service appointments for customers based on their availability, service requirements, and workshop capacity. Coordinate with service technicians, parts department staff, and other service advisors to ensure timely completion of appointments and efficient workflow. Parts and Inventory Management: Assist customers in ordering and purchasing automotive parts, accessories, and supplies needed for repairs or maintenance. Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, stock levels, and backorders, coordinating with the parts department to replenish supplies as needed. Customer Education and Consultation: Educate customers about routine maintenance schedules, recommended service intervals, and preventive care measures to maximize vehicle longevity and performance. Offer guidance and advice on vehicle care, usage tips, and warranty coverage to empower customers in making informed decisions about their vehicles. Service Follow-Up and Customer Satisfaction: Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns or issues, and gather feedback on their service experience. Resolve customer complaints, disputes, or dissatisfaction promptly and professionally, striving to achieve positive outcomes and retain customer loyalty. Technical Support and Assistance: Collaborate with service technicians and diagnostic specialists to interpret vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and service recommendations for customers. Facilitate communication between customers and technical staff, conveying information accurately and facilitating solutions to technical challenges. Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service appointments, vehicle histories, and service transactions in customer databases or service management systems.
