Job description

1. Customer Interaction: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a welcoming atmosphere and building rapport. Listen attentively to customers' concerns, questions, and service needs, demonstrating empathy and understanding. 2. Service Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with customers to determine their vehicle service requirements, including routine maintenance, repairs, or diagnostics. Explain recommended services, repairs, and maintenance procedures to customers in clear and understandable terms, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. 3. Service Recommendations: Recommend appropriate services and repairs based on vehicle condition, manufacturer recommendations, and customer preferences. Provide estimates of service costs, including parts and labor, and obtain customer approval before proceeding with work. 4. Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments for customers based on availability of technicians, parts, and facilities. Coordinate with the service department to ensure efficient scheduling and allocation of resources. 5. Upselling and Add-Ons: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services, such as tire rotations, fluid flushes, or wheel alignments, to enhance vehicle performance and longevity. Promote service packages, maintenance plans, or dealership promotions to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. 6. Customer Education: Educate customers about the importance of regular maintenance and service intervals to prevent costly repairs and maintain vehicle reliability. Provide information about warranty coverage, service contracts, and extended warranty options available to customers. 7. Technical Knowledge: Have a basic understanding of automotive systems, components, and service procedures to accurately assess customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations. Stay updated on the latest vehicle models, technologies, and service bulletins to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. 8. Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with customers, service technicians, and other dealership staff members to facilitate smooth service operations. Relay customer concerns, service requests, and vehicle information accurately and efficiently to the service department. 9. Conflict Resolution: Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, striving to resolve them to the customer's satisfaction. Escalate unresolved issues to management or higher-level staff as needed to ensure timely resolution. 10. Sales and Customer Retention: Build long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service experiences and personalized attention. Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or concerns.
