Design and Planning: Collaborate with clients or design teams to conceptualize the desired vehicle body design. This may involve creating sketches, 3D models, or detailed blueprints that outline the modifications or new construction. Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials for the construction or modification of vehicle bodies, considering factors such as strength, durability, weight, and aesthetics. Common materials used include steel, aluminum, fiberglass, carbon fiber, and composite materials. Fabrication: Utilize various fabrication techniques such as cutting, bending, welding, and shaping to construct or modify vehicle body components. This may involve building from scratch or modifying existing body panels, frames, chassis, or other structural elements. Body Modification: Perform modifications to the vehicle body to accommodate specific requirements or preferences, such as altering the roofline, extending or shortening the wheelbase, customizing fenders, adding body kits, or integrating specialized features like roll cages or cargo compartments. Integration of Components: Ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components with the vehicle body. This includes mounting of engines, drivetrains, suspension systems, fuel tanks, lighting systems, and other essential parts. Surface Finishing: Apply surface finishes such as paint, primer, clear coat, or wraps to the vehicle body to achieve the desired appearance and protection against corrosion or environmental damage.
