Job description

Installation: Installing air conditioning systems in vehicles, including mounting components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and hoses. Ensuring proper placement and secure attachment of all components. Diagnosis: Diagnosing problems with vehicle air conditioning systems using diagnostic tools, gauges, and equipment. Identifying issues such as refrigerant leaks, compressor malfunctions, electrical problems, and component failures. Repair: Repairing or replacing faulty components in vehicle AC systems, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and hoses. Performing repairs according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. Recharging: Recharging vehicle AC systems with refrigerant gas to restore proper cooling performance. Checking refrigerant levels, pressures, and temperatures to ensure optimal operation. Leak Detection: Detecting and repairing refrigerant leaks in vehicle AC systems using leak detection tools and methods. Sealing leaks and replacing damaged components to prevent refrigerant loss and maintain system integrity. System Flushing: Flushing and cleaning AC system components to remove contaminants, debris, and old refrigerant oil. Ensuring that system components are clean and free from obstructions for optimal performance. Electrical Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting electrical components of vehicle AC systems, including wiring, switches, relays, and sensors. Testing electrical circuits and connections to identify and resolve issues. Performance Testing: Conducting performance tests on vehicle AC systems to evaluate cooling efficiency, temperature output, and overall functionality. Adjusting system settings and components as needed to optimize performance. Preventive Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks on vehicle AC systems, such as cleaning filters, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting for signs of wear or damage. Recommending preventive maintenance schedules to customers to prolong system lifespan. Customer Service: Interacting with customers to understand their concerns, explain repair options, and provide estimates for services. Communicating effectively and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and build trust. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including diagnostic findings, repairs completed, parts replaced, and service invoices. Providing detailed documentation to customers and management as needed. Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and regulations while working with refrigerant gases, electrical systems, and automotive components. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
