Job description

Installation: Installing air conditioning systems in vehicles during manufacturing or retrofitting them into existing vehicles. This involves mounting the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and other components in the appropriate locations within the vehicle. Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on vehicle air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This includes inspecting components for wear and damage, checking refrigerant levels, cleaning filters, and lubricating moving parts. Diagnosis: Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with vehicle air conditioning systems to identify the root cause of problems. This involves using diagnostic tools and equipment to test components, check for leaks, and assess system performance. Repair: Repairing or replacing faulty components in vehicle air conditioning systems to restore functionality. This may involve replacing compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, hoses, or seals, depending on the nature of the problem. Recharging: Recharging vehicle air conditioning systems with refrigerant to ensure proper cooling performance. This involves evacuating old refrigerant, vacuuming the system to remove air and moisture, and adding the correct amount of refrigerant according to manufacturer specifications. Leak Detection and Repair: Detecting and repairing leaks in vehicle air conditioning systems to prevent refrigerant loss and ensure efficient operation. This may involve using leak detection tools, such as UV dyes or electronic leak detectors, to locate leaks and seal them with appropriate methods. Electrical Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting electrical issues related to vehicle air conditioning systems, such as faulty wiring, switches, relays, or sensors. This involves testing electrical connections, inspecting fuses and circuit breakers, and repairing or replacing damaged components as needed. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards for vehicle air conditioning systems. This includes following proper procedures for handling refrigerants, adhering to environmental regulations, and maintaining safe working practices. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining repair options, and offering recommendations for maintaining and optimizing vehicle air conditioning systems. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including repairs, parts replaced, and service history. This helps track maintenance schedules, warranty information, and customer preferences for future reference.
