Job description

Curriculum Development: Developing and planning Arabic language curriculum based on educational standards, student needs, and learning objectives. You design lessons, activities, and materials that cover various aspects of Arabic language learning, including vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, and cultural studies. Instruction and Delivery: Delivering effective instruction in Arabic language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including textbooks, multimedia materials, interactive exercises, role-plays, and language games to engage students and facilitate language acquisition. Language Proficiency Development: Providing opportunities for students to develop proficiency in Arabic through immersion experiences, authentic communication, and real-world contexts. You create opportunities for students to engage in meaningful conversations, express themselves creatively, and use language for practical purposes in everyday life. Vocabulary and Grammar Instruction: Teaching vocabulary and grammar rules and structures of the Arabic language. You introduce students to essential vocabulary words, phrases, and expressions, and provide explanations and examples of grammar concepts such as verb conjugations, tenses, pronouns, and sentence structure. Pronunciation and Phonetics: Helping students develop accurate pronunciation and phonetic skills in Arabic. You teach students how to articulate Arabic sounds, recognize phonetic symbols, and improve intonation and rhythm through pronunciation drills, listening exercises, and speaking activities. Reading Comprehension and Writing Skills: Supporting reading comprehension and writing skills through exposure to Arabic literature, texts, and writing exercises. You introduce students to a variety of written materials such as stories, articles, poems, and essays, and guide them in developing reading strategies, comprehension skills, and writing proficiency in Arabic. Cultural Studies and Civilization: Exploring Arabic culture, history, traditions, and customs. You introduce students to Arabic-speaking countries, regions, and communities around the world, and discuss cultural topics such as art, music, literature, cuisine, festivals, and social norms to deepen their understanding of Arabic culture and society. Assessment and Evaluation: Assessing student learning and progress through a variety of assessment methods, including quizzes, tests, oral presentations, writing assignments, and projects. You evaluate student performance based on language proficiency levels, communication skills, cultural understanding, and progress towards proficiency goals. Technology Integration: Integrating technology into Arabic language instruction to enhance learning and engagement. You incorporate multimedia resources, online tools, language learning apps, and digital platforms to provide additional practice, reinforcement, and enrichment opportunities for students to improve their Arabic language skills. Professional Development and Collaboration: Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills, language proficiency, and cultural knowledge. You collaborate with colleagues, attend workshops, conferences, and training programs, and participate in Arabic language organizations and communities to stay updated on best practices and trends in Arabic language education.
