Patient Assessment: Conducting comprehensive health assessments to gather information about patients' medical history, current symptoms, vital signs, and overall health status. Medication Administration: Administering prescribed medications and treatments to patients, ensuring accuracy in dosage and route of administration, and monitoring for any adverse reactions or side effects. Treatment Planning: Collaborating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' medical conditions, diagnoses, and treatment goals. Patient Education: Providing patients and their families with information about their medical conditions, prescribed medications, treatment options, self-care techniques, and preventive measures to promote optimal health and well-being. Wound Care: Assessing and managing wounds, incisions, and surgical sites, including dressing changes, wound irrigation, and monitoring for signs of infection or complications. Assisting with Procedures: Assisting physicians and other healthcare providers during medical procedures, examinations, and diagnostic tests, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and adherence to sterile techniques. Monitoring and Documentation: Monitoring patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, and accurately documenting all relevant information in patients' medical records to facilitate continuity of care and communication among healthcare providers. Patient Advocacy: Advocating for patients' needs, preferences, and rights, and serving as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive appropriate care and support. Emergency Response: Responding promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, providing immediate interventions as needed, and initiating appropriate emergency protocols to stabilize patients' conditions and ensure their safety.
