Providing emotional support and counseling to patients and families during times of illness or recovery. Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Collaborating with physicians, specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate patient care. Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards for medical documentation. Patient Advocacy: Advocating for patients' rights, preferences, and best interests within the healthcare system. Acting as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and understanding of care plans. Emergency Response and Crisis Management: Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care and interventions as needed. Maintaining calm and effective communication during crisis situations to ensure patient safety and well-being. Infection Control and Safety: Implementing infection control practices to prevent the spread of infections in healthcare settings. Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines for patient care, medication administration, and medical procedures. Continuing Education and Professional Development: Pursuing ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in nursing practice, medical treatments, and healthcare technology. Maintaining licensure and certifications required for nursing practice, including participation in continuing education programs. Ethical and Professional Standards: Upholding ethical standards of nursing practice, including patient confidentiality, respect for patient autonomy, and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
